Important Dates
The first day of school is only three weeks away! Here are some important back to school dates to put on your calendar.
*Monday, August 13 at 7:00 pm: Fall Sports Parent Meeting
*Wednesday, August 22 at 5:00 pm: New Student Orientation
*Monday, August 27: First Day of School (Half Day)
Important Forms
Additionally, every family needs to fill out the following forms before the start of school:
- Concussion Awareness
- Emergency Contact
- Medication Authorization
- MHSAA Physical
- School Forms Checklist
- Student Accident Insurance Program (read this before filling out #7-Student Accident Insurance Form)
- Student Accident Insurance Form

STEM Program Computer Training
On Tuesday, August 21 from 9:00 am-1:00 pm students that have already been admitted into the Biomedical Strand or the Engineering Strand of the STEM program are expected to participate in the Computer Seminar.
This seminar will begin in Room 109 and will provide students with the skills necessary to use the Excel Program to complete graphs required in various upper level Science classes.
STEM candidates that have previously completed the Microsoft Office class are not required to attend this event. Students that plan to attend should contact Mr. Tim Topel at TTopel@LHSA.com by Tuesday, August 14 so proper preparations can be made.
