Georgia Lewis Receives Photography Award

Lutheran Northwest Sophomore Georgia Lewis was recently recognized with an Honorable Mention by the International Photography Awards! This prestigious organization “conducts an annual competition for professional, amateur, and student photographers on a global scale, creating one of the most ambitious and comprehensive photo competitions in the photography world today.”

Georgia’s award-winning photo was taken on her 2021 8th Grade Trip to Washington, D.C. with her classmates from Our Shepherd Lutheran School in Birmingham. Working only with her phone, she captured a strikingly unique perspective of the Air Force Memorial near Arlington National Cemetery.
