Making Blankets & Delivering Hope

On Wednesday, February 15, Crusaders Abby Rice, Max Vollmert, Nathan Halstead and Stella Macavage had the opportunity to participate in a very special service event organized by our MIAC Athletic Conference.

Our four students, along with students from across our Conference, traveled to Fleece and Thank You in Livonia for a “blanket event.” The students made blankets to be delivered to children in Michigan hospitals.

Fleece and Thank You was founded for the express purpose of bringing some warmth, comfort and hope to the approximately 30,000 children who face hospital treatment in our state every year. And their goal is to provide a blanket for each and every one of them!
