Salutatorian
A 4.0+ student at Lutheran Northwest, Michael Maceri is the Lutheran Northwest Class of 2025 Salutatorian. His future plans include attending the University of Michigan to study Engineering. Michael’s home congregation is St. John Lutheran Church in Fraser. He also attended St. John for grade school.
Michael participated in both National Honor Society and the Leadership Cohort while at Lutheran Northwest, and he is receiving our STEM Engineering and Biomedical endorsements. At our recent Honors Convocation, he was recognized by the faculty of Lutheran Northwest with the Physical Sciences Department Award.
Michael was a member of our Varsity Tennis Co-op for all four years, played Varsity Golf for three years, and participated in Wrestling and Lacrosse for one year each. He earned Varsity Letters in all four sports and All-Conference honors in Tennis. This year, Michael was the Tennis Singles 1 District Champion and part of the winning team in the MIAC vs CHSL Conference Clash in Golf. Outside of athletics, Michael’s LHNW involvement included Drama Stage and Tech Crews, Chapel Setup and Ski Club.
Michael, what is your favorite thing about Lutheran Northwest?
My favorite thing about Lutheran Northwest is the close relationships we have with the teachers: The familiarity allows for better explanations and understanding of information in the classroom and outside of it.
